The Abu Dhabi Civil Defence Authority actively participated in the FDIC International event in the United States, underscoring its dedication to enhancing global collaboration and sharing knowledge with top civil defence and firefighting entities.
FDIC International is recognized as one of the premier forums for firefighting, rescue, and emergency services worldwide. It unites experts and leaders in civil defence to foster coordination and facilitate knowledge exchange in vital safety domains.
During this significant event, the Abu Dhabi Civil Defence Authority successfully completed 74 advanced training courses and took part in 200 workshops and training lectures. This endeavor showcases its commitment to nurture local talent, enhance operational readiness, and integrate the latest global practices in firefighting, rescue, and emergency management.
Additionally, the authority engaged in a specialized seminar consisting of four sessions aimed at boosting emergency response effectiveness and improving fire incident management in mid- and high-rise structures through modern firefighting and prevention technologies.
To complement this, the authority initiated a specific training program focused on bolstering leadership capabilities in emergency and incident response. This program also facilitated the sharing of best practices in rescue operations, firefighting, emergency medical services, and civil protection.
The Abu Dhabi Civil Defence Authority reiterated its commitment to refining operational systems, fostering strategic partnerships, and enhancing institutional readiness to ensure the protection of lives and property across the emirate.
