Dubai has moved to deepen its role as an artificial intelligence hub with the creation of a new joint venture. Dubai Holding, the diversified investment group, and Palantir Technologies, an operational AI specialist, announced the formation of Aither — Palantir’s first dedicated venture in the UAE.
The agreement was signed in Dubai in the presence of His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman of Dubai Holding, and His Excellency Mohamed bin Hadi Al Hussaini, Minister of State for Financial Affairs. Amit Kaushal, Group CEO of Dubai Holding, and Noam Perski, Executive Vice President at Palantir, signed the deal on behalf of their organisations.
Proven 18-month collaboration
The joint venture builds on an 18-month collaboration during which Dubai Holding implemented Palantir’s data and AI platforms across its businesses. The partnership delivered measurable benefits including faster decision cycles, improved operational efficiency and clearer data oversight across real estate, hospitality, finance and infrastructure, supporting groups such as Nakheel, Meraas and Jumeirah.
A platform for national adoption
Aither is designed to scale these capabilities more broadly across the UAE’s priority sectors. The venture intends to operate as a national AI platform, enabling public bodies and private companies to adopt intelligent operations and unlock new economic uses of data.
Supporting Dubai’s digital growth targets
The initiative aligns with the Dubai Economic Agenda D33, which seeks AED 100 billion annually from digital transformation. By localising advanced AI tooling, Aither aims to transfer technical know-how, upskill national talent and establish governance practices for responsible AI deployment.
Aligned with the UAE’s broader digital transformation and diversification objectives, Aither represents a step toward institutionalising enterprise-grade AI across the region and converting existing pilots into scalable national infrastructure.
