Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Esports Federation (SEF), highlighted the Kingdom’s remarkable achievements in hosting international esports events. Over the last two years, the Esports World Cup, organized in Saudi Arabia, attracted global participants and a large number of attendees. These events have demonstrated Saudi Arabia’s strong capabilities in digital infrastructure, event management, and global engagement in the rapidly growing gaming sector.

The statement was made during a panel discussion titled “Powering the Future of Gaming and Esports”, held as part of the exhibition at the Global Symposium for Regulators (GSR25). The event was attended by high-ranking officials, including Minister of Communications and Information Technology Abdullah Alswaha. Prince Faisal used this platform to share insights on how Saudi Arabia has positioned itself as a leading country in esports and digital entertainment.
