During his visit to the Al Ain Police Directorate, Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan undertook a review of cutting-edge security and emergency response systems, aimed at enhancing public safety in the Al Ain Region.

The visit included an overview of various development initiatives and strategic projects being executed by the Abu Dhabi Police General Headquarters, focusing particularly on crime deterrence, drug control, and the application of artificial intelligence in the Safe City System.

Authorities provided insights into how AI is facilitating field operations, data analysis, and the anticipation of criminal behavior. This technology not only boosts policing efficacy but also aims to decrease fatalities from accidents and enhance collaboration with key partners.

Sheikh Hazza also previewed the Security Incident Management System, which optimizes inter-agency coordination during security-related emergencies. This system is designed to expedite decision-making and improve the efficiency of field responses while ensuring readiness and professionalism.

Additionally, he received an update from the Abu Dhabi Emergency, Crisis and Disaster Management Centre regarding their readiness plans and collaborations with strategic partners, especially in managing adverse weather situations in the Al Ain Area.

The briefing underscored their proactive approach to accelerating emergency response times, enhancing coordination among relevant sectors, and guaranteeing the safety of lives and property while maintaining public service continuity.

Sheikh Hazza also assessed operations conducted by civil defense centers managed by the Abu Dhabi Civil Defence Authority, gauging their preparedness for emergencies and reviewing initiatives to boost safety, security, and swift response efficiency.

Officials highlighted the advanced technologies and smart systems utilized by rescue, firefighting, and ambulance teams, aimed at enhancing operational efficacy in emergencies.

Emphasizing the integration of cutting-edge technologies and AI in policing and emergency readiness, Sheikh Hazza noted their critical role in safeguarding lives and properties, bolstering preventive measures, and delivering quality security services aligned with global best practices.

He commended the professionalism shown by the personnel at the Al Ain Police Directorate, the Abu Dhabi Civil Defence Authority, and the Abu Dhabi Emergency, Crisis and Disaster Management Centre, reiterating the importance of continuously enhancing safety protocols and readiness for all types of emergencies.

Sheikh Hazza was accompanied by Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ahmed Saif bin Zaitoon Al Muhairi, along with several senior officials during his visit.
