UAE Government Annual Meetings 2025 Open in Abu Dhabi

Post by : Raina Al-Fahim

Abu Dhabi: The seventh UAE Government Annual Meetings opened on Tuesday in Abu Dhabi under the chairmanship of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.

Running from November 4 to 6, the high-level forum convenes more than 500 senior representatives from federal and local bodies to coordinate strategies, review progress and fast-track national priorities.

The agenda this year prioritises emerging areas including artificial intelligence, healthcare, investment and family welfare—sectors central to the UAE's sustainable development and international competitiveness.

Mohammad Al Gergawi, Minister of Cabinet Affairs, said the meetings underscore the government's dedication to proactive governance and raising citizens' living standards, noting the sessions aim to boost innovation, institutional coordination and national cohesion.

Agenda highlights include strategic briefings, leadership panels and a dedicated session on the UAE's global narrative. Organisers also expect to unveil new initiatives that support the country's shift toward a forward-looking, knowledge-based economy.

The programme will close with awards that recognise achievements in culture, creativity and artificial intelligence, honouring teams that have significantly contributed to national advancement.

First held in 2017, the UAE Government Annual Meetings act as a national platform to align government action and expedite the goals of the 'We the UAE 2031' strategy and the UAE Centennial 2071 vision.
