The Government of Umm Al Qaiwain has officially announced revised working hours for all local government entities during the Holy Month of Ramadan. The decision was issued through a circular by the Emiri Court, in line with the directives of Sheikh Saud bin Rashid Al Mu'alla, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Umm Al Qaiwain.
According to the circular, official working days for government departments during Ramadan will be from Monday to Thursday, while the weekend will fall from Friday to Sunday. This adjustment aims to accommodate the spiritual and social aspects of the holy month.
The circular further clarified that official working hours for government employees will be from 9:00 am to 2:30 pm throughout Ramadan. The announcement ensures uniformity across all government entities and supports employees in balancing work responsibilities with religious observances during the holy period.
