Each day, the Fallen Heroes' Affairs Office organizes a “Salute the Flag” ceremony at Wahat Al Karama, located in Abu Dhabi, to honor the martyrs of the nation.
This solemn event takes place before sunset at both the Memorial and the Pavilion of Honour. During the ceremony, the Guard of Honour performs a formal tribute, creating a respectful and poignant atmosphere that illustrates the nation's deep gratitude towards its fallen heroes.
The initiative is designed to reinforce key national values such as sacrifice, unity, and loyalty. It serves as a powerful reminder of the courage and dedication exhibited by those who made the ultimate sacrifice for their country.
Open to the public and free of charge, the ceremony allows visitors to engage with one of the UAE’s most significant national sites and to contemplate the essence of patriotism and service.
This daily observance underscores the UAE's ongoing commitment to honoring its martyrs and ensuring their legacy is remembered for generations to come.
