The King Abdulaziz and His Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity, known as Mawhiba, has won the Arab Government Excellence Award 2025 in the category of best Arab initiative for education development. This major achievement was announced during the fourth edition of the award, held by the Arab Administrative Development Organization at the Arab League in cooperation with the Emirati government. Mawhiba was represented at the ceremony by Vice Secretary General for Shared Services, Tarik Ismail.
Mawhiba Secretary General Abdulaziz Alkaridis expressed pride in this accomplishment, stating that the award reflects the Saudi leadership’s strong vision for empowering gifted and talented individuals. He explained that this recognition highlights the Kingdom’s growing role in advancing scientific excellence and building an innovative educational ecosystem. According to Alkaridis, the foundation’s efforts are closely aligned with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030, which aims to nurture talent, encourage creativity, and support national development.
He added that receiving this award will motivate the foundation to continue improving and expanding its programs at the local, regional, and international levels. Mawhiba has long been dedicated to identifying and supporting youth with exceptional abilities, offering programs and opportunities that help them grow academically and creatively. The award further strengthens Mawhiba’s position as a leading institution in education development across the Arab world.
