An American Airlines passenger flight was forced to make an emergency landing at Denver International Airport after a serious mechanical issue onboard triggered full emergency protocols.
Fire trucks, ambulances and ARFF teams rushed to the runway as the aircraft landed, with dramatic visuals capturing the heavy emergency response.
Passengers later confirmed they were safely evacuated after tense moments during the final approach. All passengers deplaned without injuries. Authorities said the incident highlights DIA’s extensive emergency preparedness as one of the nation’s busiest airports.
The NTSB is set to conduct a standard investigation to determine whether the problem stemmed from an engine, hydraulic or electrical system malfunction.
