It brought together government representatives, municipalities, industry experts, and technology leaders to discuss how artificial intelligence and other advanced technologies can shape the UAE’s digital future.
Focus On Artificial Intelligence And Innovation
The main focus of the conference was artificial intelligence (AI). Discussions explored how AI can create innovation, support national growth, and help the UAE build smarter communities. The event featured a full 360-degree technology showcase that demonstrated how AI can change different sectors such as healthcare, manufacturing, education, transport, retail, utilities, and smart cities.
Opening Address By Du’s CEO
The event began with a keynote speech from Fahad Al Hassawi, CEO of du, who highlighted the importance of aligning leadership and technology. His opening remarks set the tone for the day’s sessions, which focused on how AI is central to the UAE’s journey of digital transformation.
Sectors Impacted By Technology
The event explained how advanced technologies are not limited to one industry but can impact many critical areas. For example, AI in healthcare can improve patient care, while AI in education can create smarter learning tools. Similarly, transport, retail, and utilities can all benefit from advanced digital solutions that make services more effective and sustainable.
UAE’s Commitment To AI Leadership
Jasim Al Awadi, Chief ICT Officer at du, said that Envision 2025 once again proved the UAE’s strong commitment to leading the world in AI development. He explained that the UAE is not only talking about the future but is actively creating it today. He connected this vision to the guidance of Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, who has always emphasized building the future instead of waiting for it.
Five Technological Pillars Highlighted
The conference highlighted five main technology areas that are helping the UAE lead its digital transformation journey:
AI and Generative AI – New tools like Agentic AI are making systems more advanced and interactive.
Data Centres and Sovereign Cloud – Strong cloud infrastructure is needed to protect national digital sovereignty.

The event gave a platform for experts to explain real-world strategies for applying AI in business and society.
Discussions On Real-World Applications
The agenda included several discussions on how new technologies can be practically used across different industries. For example, sovereign cloud infrastructure is crucial for data protection, while robotics integration helps manufacturing companies work faster and safer. By discussing these applications, the event gave businesses and policymakers clear strategies to follow.
Support For Sustainable And Smart Communities
Speakers at Envision 2025 also explained how technology can create more efficient, intelligent, and sustainable communities. The UAE’s national digital transformation goals are strongly linked to building smart cities that save energy, protect the environment, and improve quality of life for all residents.
Presence Of Key Executives
The event brought together many C-level executives, government officials, and technology leaders from different industries. Their participation showed that collaboration between the private and public sectors is essential for building the UAE’s digital future.
Building On Previous Success
Envision 2025 followed the success of Envision 2024, which had 26 C-level speakers, 103 attendees, and more than 500 participants. This year’s edition built on that success and reinforced Envision’s status as the UAE’s leading platform for digital transformation discussions.
Positioning UAE At The Global Level
By hosting Envision 2025, du helped position the UAE at the forefront of global AI innovation. The event allowed international and local leaders to collaborate and share ideas on building a strong digital future supported by AI, robotics, and cloud technologies.
A Platform For Collaboration
Envision 2025 showed the importance of collaboration in digital transformation. Government agencies, private companies, and technology experts worked together during the event to design solutions that will help shape not only the UAE’s future but also contribute to global technological progress.
As the UAE continues its digital journey, events like Envision 2025 will play a major role in keeping the nation at the cutting edge of AI development and advanced technologies. With strong leadership, clear strategies, and active partnerships, the UAE is preparing to lead the world in building an AI-powered, sustainable digital economy.
