NMDC Group And ADNOC L&S Sign Three-Year Deal For Offshore Work

Post by : Mariam Al-Faris

The NMDC Group PJSC and ADNOC Logistics and Services Plc (ADNOC L&S) have announced the signing of a new agreement that will last for three years. The deal is focused on exploring collaboration between the two major companies in delivering maritime services for offshore projects. This agreement reflects the strong relationship between the two organizations and their shared commitment to the growth of Abu Dhabi’s offshore energy sector.

Signing Of The Agreement

The official signing of the agreement took place at the headquarters of NMDC in Abu Dhabi. Engineer Yasser Zaghloul, the Group Chief Executive Officer of NMDC, and Captain Abdulkareem Al Masabi, the Chief Executive Officer of ADNOC L&S, signed the agreement. The event marked a new stage of cooperation between the two companies, laying the foundation for more projects and services in the future.

Focus Of The Deal

This agreement is aimed at strengthening and expanding the existing partnership between NMDC and ADNOC L&S. It sets a clear framework for both companies to work closely together in offshore EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) projects in Abu Dhabi. The collaboration will cover marine services and integrated logistics, which are essential parts of offshore energy development. The deal highlights their commitment to enhancing Abu Dhabi’s position as a global energy hub.

Experience Of NMDC Group

During the announcement, Yasser Zaghloul highlighted the rich experience of NMDC Group. He explained that for more than 50 years, NMDC has played a leading role in delivering complex EPC infrastructure projects across different sectors. The company has built its reputation on expertise in marine construction and large-scale project logistics. He also noted the launch of NMDC LTS, a new vertical created to extend these capabilities further.

ADNOC L&S Capabilities

ADNOC Logistics and Services has also established itself as a strong player in offshore energy support and logistics solutions. The company is a leader in hydrocarbon logistics services, operating one of the largest marine fleets in the region. By entering this partnership with NMDC, ADNOC L&S will be able to combine its strong logistics capabilities with NMDC’s engineering and project delivery expertise. This combination will create greater value and open new opportunities in offshore energy services.

Building A Strong Framework

According to Zaghloul, the agreement is more than just a business deal. It is about creating a strong framework that ensures collaboration between two leading organizations. He stated that both companies will now be able to focus on creating synergies across different sectors. This means working together in a way that maximizes their strengths, supports growth, and brings more value to Abu Dhabi’s marine and energy industries.

Supporting Offshore Energy Development

Captain Abdulkareem Al Masabi, the CEO of ADNOC L&S, emphasized that this partnership is closely linked to ADNOC’s long-term goals. He explained that ADNOC L&S aims to provide world-class and fully integrated logistics solutions that will support the UAE’s offshore energy sector. The deal with NMDC is an important step in that direction, as it will help the company create new opportunities, generate more value for shareholders, and support customers while driving the UAE’s economic development.

Strengthening Abu Dhabi’s Position

This agreement also plays a role in strengthening Abu Dhabi’s position as a center for offshore and marine services. The collaboration will not only support the energy sector but also highlight the emirate’s role in global industrial growth. By combining resources and expertise, NMDC and ADNOC L&S can provide high-quality services that match international standards and attract more projects to the region.

Shared Vision For Growth

Both NMDC and ADNOC L&S share a common vision of long-term growth and value creation. Their partnership is designed to bring mutual benefits while serving the larger purpose of supporting the UAE’s industrial and economic strategies. With offshore energy being such a critical part of the UAE’s future, this agreement marks an important milestone in ensuring steady progress in the sector.

Focus On Synergies

One of the key outcomes of the agreement is the focus on synergies. Synergies are created when two companies combine their strengths to deliver results that neither could achieve alone. By leveraging their combined fleets, advanced technology, and expert teams, NMDC and ADNOC L&S aim to set new benchmarks in offshore project delivery. This will not only improve efficiency but also create more cost-effective and reliable services.

A Boost To Logistics And Shipping

The deal will also give a boost to logistics and shipping operations in the region. Offshore projects often require extensive support in terms of transportation, supply chains, and maritime services. By working together, NMDC and ADNOC L&S can provide integrated logistics solutions that ensure smooth project execution. This makes the entire process more efficient and supports faster project completion.

Long-Term Industrial Impact

The long-term impact of this agreement is expected to be significant for Abu Dhabi’s industrial development. By building a strong framework for collaboration, both companies are ensuring that they remain leaders in their respective fields. The partnership is likely to result in more innovative solutions, increased competitiveness, and a stronger position for Abu Dhabi in the global offshore market.

Commitment To Excellence

Both leaders expressed their strong commitment to excellence. They stressed that this agreement is a reflection of their dedication to delivering world-class services. With decades of experience and the backing of large marine fleets, NMDC and ADNOC L&S are well-prepared to meet the challenges of offshore projects and provide high-quality solutions that support the energy sector.

The three-year agreement between NMDC Group and ADNOC Logistics and Services is a significant step forward for the offshore energy sector in Abu Dhabi. It strengthens an already strong partnership, focuses on synergies, and creates a framework for growth. Most importantly, it highlights the commitment of both organizations to supporting the UAE’s energy development goals and enhancing Abu Dhabi’s role as a global hub for offshore services.
