The Oman-Estonia Business Forum took place in Muscat and was organized by the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The main goal of this forum was to bring Oman and Estonia closer in economic and investment cooperation. Qais Mohammed Al Yousuf, Oman’s Minister of Commerce, Industry, and Investment Promotion, said the forum reflects the deep interest of both countries in boosting economic relations. He emphasized that Oman is looking for opportunities to diversify its imports and increase the export of Omani products. He also added that both countries are exploring sectors of common interest to strengthen trade and investment partnerships.
OCCI Chairman Explains Oman’s Strengths
Faisal Abdullah Al Rowas, Chairman of the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry, stated that the forum is a valuable opportunity to build new cooperation. He explained that Estonia is a world leader in digital transformation, e-governance, and innovation, while Oman offers a strong investment environment. Oman’s location connects global markets, it has modern infrastructure, and a future vision called Oman Vision 2040. He expressed hope that this forum will result in real partnerships across different sectors.
Estonia’s Foreign Minister Expresses Commitment
Margus Tsahkna, Estonia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, said the forum shows the strong commitment of both countries to economic cooperation. He pointed out that Oman has a promising investment environment and a strategic location that links regional and international markets. He added that Estonia’s expertise in digital innovation and Oman’s opportunities in renewable energy, logistics, and education make them perfect partners.
Estonia’s Ambassador On Rapid Growth
Ingrid Amer, Estonia’s Ambassador to Oman, explained that relations between the two countries are developing quickly, especially in the economic and commercial fields. She highlighted Oman’s importance as a strong partner because of its location and growing investment opportunities. She added that Estonia is known for digital innovation, entrepreneurship, and modern technology, which makes it an excellent partner for Oman. According to her, the next phase of cooperation will bring even greater opportunities for business and technology partnerships.

The forum also included a visual presentation that highlighted the many investment opportunities available in Oman. The presentation covered sectors such as industry, tourism, logistics, and commerce.
