A 35-year-old British tourist was arrested at Hong Kong International Airport after a violent outburst in the departure hall, where he overturned and smashed about 10 smart check-in kiosks using a metal stanchion pole. The chaotic scene was caught on viral video.
Police took the man into custody on suspicion of criminal damage. During the arrest, officers found four Viagra pills in his backpack, which are illegal in Hong Kong without a prescription under the city’s strict “Part 1 poisons” regulations.
The reason behind the tourist’s rampage is still unknown, and authorities have opened an investigation into the incident.
