Leaders from UAE and Ghana Focus on Trade, AI, and Investment Opportunities

During a working visit to the UAE, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan welcomed Ghana’s President John Dramani Mahama.

This engagement took place at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre, coinciding with the Make it in the Emirates 2026 initiative.

The dialogue aimed at reinforcing the UAE-Ghana relationship, with emphasis on collaboration across various vital sectors. Key discussion points included trade, economy, investment, renewable energy, innovation, technology, and artificial intelligence.

Both leaders expressed their dedication to enhancing bilateral cooperation to foster sustainable development, economic advancement, and mutual prosperity.

Additionally, the meeting touched on significant regional and global issues, particularly the dynamics in the Middle East and their implications for peace and security in the region.

President Mahama condemned the recent Iranian assaults on civilian targets in the UAE, asserting that such transgressions breach sovereignty and violate international laws, posing risks to stability in the region.
