Nepal has chosen a new Living Goddess — a two-year-old girl now worshipped as the earthly embodiment of Taleju under the centuries-old Kumari tradition.

The young Kumari will live in a palace in Kathmandu, where she will participate in religious ceremonies and be revered by both Hindus and Buddhists.

This unique practice blends faith, heritage, and devotion, continuing to draw devotees and visitors from across Nepal and beyond.
