A deeply moving story has emerged from Saudi Arabia, where a father chose mercy over vengeance by pardoning the man convicted of killing his son just 15 hours before the scheduled execution under Qisas (equal retaliation) law.
Instead of accepting diya (blood money) worth millions of riyals, he visited the killer’s home and forgave him purely for the sake of Allah’s pleasure, saying that no amount of money could replace his son’s life. This extraordinary act of mercy has touched hearts worldwide and set a powerful example of forgiveness, patience, and humanity.
