Trump Faces Awkward Moment At Medal Of Honor Ceremony | Veteran Honorees Recognized

A White House Medal of Honor ceremony honoring decorated U.S. veterans took an unexpected moment in the spotlight when President Donald Trump appeared to struggle while fastening the medal ribbon before placing it around a recipient’s neck.

The ceremony paid tribute to extraordinary bravery by servicemembers including retired Marine Maj. James Capers Jr., retired Army Maj. Nicholas Dockery, and posthumous honoree Marine Col. John W. Ripley, who served with distinction in Vietnam and Afghanistan. While the event was intended to celebrate courage and sacrifice, the brief awkward moment drew attention online as photos and videos circulated.
