In a nail-biting encounter at Eden Gardens, the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) achieved a stunning last-ball victory over the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), driven by the remarkable innings of young wicketkeeper-batter Mukul Choudhary.
Facing a formidable target of 182, LSG was under pressure until Mukul took charge at a critical moment. After an initial cautious approach, the 22-year-old launched an impressive offensive, finishing unbeaten with a striking 54 runs off just 27 deliveries. His fearless batting propelled the team to victory right on the last ball of the match.
Mukul’s explosiveness came as no surprise; his teammate Arjun Tendulkar had previously noted Mukul's remarkable six-hitting skills during practice, praising his ability to strike the ball with pinpoint accuracy across the field.
With 54 runs required in the final four overs, Mukul maintained his calm against standout bowlers such as Cameron Green, Kartik Tyagi, and Vaibhav Arora. His extraordinary skill and power allowed him to conquer the challenge, turning the tide in favor of LSG.
