Sharjah Enhances Amiri Guard with New Organisational Framework

Post by : Bianca Haleem

Sharjah: In an important administrative development, His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, has issued an Emiri Decree that grants approval to the updated organisational framework of the Amiri Guard in the emirate.

This decree signifies a pivotal move towards enhancing the operational and administrative foundations of the Amiri Guard, which plays a crucial role in protecting leadership and essential institutions. With this new organisational structure sanctioned, the groundwork is laid for a more efficient and well-defined operational system among all units.

As outlined in the decree, the Sharjah Executive Council will oversee the upcoming series of decisions. These include finalising the detailed organisational layout, determining job roles for each unit based on their specific responsibilities, and managing the establishment, consolidation, or dissolution of organisational units as necessary. This initiative aims to guarantee that the Guard’s departments work with clarity and efficiency, fully aligned with Sharjah’s security goals.

The recent decree highlights Sharjah’s ongoing commitment to enhancing institutional governance and bolstering security capabilities through systematic development and clear organisational structures.
