The UAE national golf team began the individual events with strong performances: Mohammed Thabet scored 79, Abdullah Salmeen recorded 92, and Marwan Al Emadi finished with 95 strokes. In the girls’ category, Sarah Abubakar and Asya Saleem both carded 72 strokes, while Anka Mateo completed her round with 75 strokes, showcasing the emerging talent of UAE youth golfers in the international arena.
In team events, the UAE youth golf team completed their first round with a total of 171 strokes, positioning them 14th overall.
