A tragic aviation disaster has struck South Sudan after a passenger plane crashed southwest of the capital, Juba, killing all 14 people on board. The aircraft, a small Cessna, was traveling from Yei to Juba when it lost communication and went down approximately 20 kilometers from the city.
Preliminary reports suggest that poor visibility and adverse weather conditions may have contributed to the crash, although investigations are still ongoing.
Authorities have dispatched rescue teams to the site, where the wreckage was found engulfed in flames. The incident has once again raised concerns about aviation safety in the region.
