Three Los Angeles County Sheriff's deputies were killed and another critically injured in a deadly explosion during a training exercise in Castaic, California on Friday. The blast occurred while the deputies were handling flashbang devices as part of a tactical training session.

Authorities are investigating the cause of the explosion, calling it one of the worst incidents in the department's recent history. Sheriff Robert Luna expressed his sorrow, saying it's a tragic day for law enforcement in Los Angeles.
