5.2 Earthquake Hits China, 2 Dead And Thousands Evacuated

A 5.2-magnitude earthquake struck China’s Guangxi region early Monday, killing 2 people and forcing more than 7,000 residents to evacuate in Liuzhou city. Authorities said 13 buildings collapsed after the quake, while rescue teams rushed to search through damaged areas and assist affected families.

The quake also triggered landslides and transport disruptions, with emergency teams working to restore safety and support residents as aftershock concerns remain.
