Big Setback for Trump? Qatar Confirms No Iran Meeting in Doha

Qatar has confirmed that U.S. envoy Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner are visiting Doha for talks with Qatari mediators, but no meeting with Iranian officials is currently planned. The clarification comes after speculation over possible U.S.-Iran discussions in Qatar, as Washington continues efforts to build support for a fragile interim deal aimed at easing tensions and ending the conflict. The development raises fresh questions over the pace of diplomacy in the Gulf.
