France Seizes Russian Oil Tanker “Grinch” in Mediterranean | Shadow Fleet Operation

France has intercepted the Russian oil tanker Grinch in the Mediterranean, believed to be part of Russia’s so-called Shadow Fleet. This fleet includes more than 400 aging tankers reportedly used to evade international sanctions on Russian oil exports.

The French Navy carried out the seizure following intelligence provided by the United Kingdom. The operation underscores continued global efforts to enforce sanctions and ensure maritime security.
