Heavy rain and thunderstorms lashed parts of Oman as unstable weather conditions affected several areas, including the Al Hajar Mountains and Dhofar Governorate. Weather authorities warned of scattered downpours, strong winds, active downdrafts and reduced visibility during storms.
Residents have been urged to stay alert, avoid low-lying valleys and follow official weather updates.
