Tensions are rising sharply in southern Lebanon after Hezbollah released footage it says shows an FPV drone strike on an Israeli army troop carrier in al-Qantara. The group described the attack as part of its continued response to alleged ceasefire violations.
The incident comes despite a U.S.-brokered ceasefire that has repeatedly been breached by both sides. Reports suggest Hezbollah has stepped up the use of explosive drones against Israeli forces in recent days, with similar strikes already resulting in injuries and casualties.
In response, Israel has issued fresh forced evacuation orders across parts of southern Lebanon, including areas in the Tyre district, warning civilians to leave as military operations expand beyond the previously declared “buffer zone.”
