Iran has released footage showing missile and drone launches amid renewed tensions in the Gulf region. According to U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM), missiles launched toward Kuwait and Bahrain failed to reach their targets, with some breaking apart mid-flight and others intercepted by air defense systems. CENTCOM stated that U.S. forces later struck an Iranian military ground control station on Qeshm Island and intercepted multiple drones allegedly targeting American forces in Kuwait.
Meanwhile, Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) claimed responsibility for attacks targeting U.S. military assets in the region, describing them as retaliation for recent American actions. The latest exchange highlights the fragile security situation in the Gulf, with both sides issuing strong statements as concerns grow over potential escalation despite ongoing diplomatic efforts.
