Israel has launched a rapid deployment of additional Iron Dome air defense systems across multiple cities, establishing an enhanced multi-layered missile interception network. This move strengthens the defense of urban areas, critical infrastructure, and population centers throughout strategic national airspace.

The deployment is a direct response to potential threats from Iranian ballistic missiles and rocket salvos from Hezbollah and Hamas proxies.

The integrated air defense setup operates with continuous 24/7 radar surveillance, real-time battle management, automated interceptor launches, and coordinated operations. It combines Iron Dome batteries with David’s Sling and Arrow systems, ensuring the highest probability of intercepting short-range rockets, cruise missiles, and precision-guided munitions, even during saturation attacks.
