Israel has reportedly carried out fresh airstrikes on Beirut’s southern suburbs for the first time since the April 17 ceasefire announcement, escalating tensions once again in the region.
Videos circulating online show extensive destruction to a multi-storey building in a densely populated neighborhood, with smoke and debris spreading across the area. According to reports, at least 13 people were killed in Lebanon on Wednesday as Israeli strikes also continued in southern and eastern parts of the country.
The renewed attacks have raised serious concerns over the stability of the ceasefire and the growing humanitarian impact on civilians caught in the conflict zone. Regional tensions remain high as diplomatic efforts struggle to prevent further escalation.
