Fresh concerns have emerged in southern Lebanon after reported Israeli airstrikes struck areas near Tyre (Sour) despite an ongoing ceasefire. According to local reports, the strikes caused damage in the vicinity of medical facilities and reportedly left hospital staff wounded, raising new fears about civilian safety in the region.
The incident comes amid continued tensions along the Israel-Lebanon border, where repeated allegations of ceasefire violations have fueled uncertainty among residents.
Humanitarian organizations and international observers have repeatedly stressed the importance of protecting civilians and healthcare facilities during periods of conflict. As diplomatic efforts continue to prevent a wider escalation, communities across southern Lebanon remain on alert amid concerns that the fragile ceasefire could come under further strain.
