Kuwait Customs Seize 855g Gold From Ahmedabad-Bound Passengers Kuwait Customs officers have intercepted two Indian passengers in separate cases at Kuwait International Airport’s Terminal 4, seizing a combined 855 grams of 24-karat gold concealed in belt buckles and a bracelet. In the first case, officers found 353g of pure gold shaped like a belt buckle and coated black.
In the second, authorities seized 502g, including a 340g black-coated belt buckle and a 162g bracelet disguised with a silver-colored coating. The passengers were reportedly travelling to Ahmedabad, India. The passengers and seized gold are being referred to the competent authorities for further legal action.
