Ukraine’s Special Operations Forces have destroyed a strategic railway bridge over the North Crimean Canal near Rozdolne in Russian‑occupied Crimea, a key military‑logistics crossing used to move cargo, ammunition and fuel for Russian forces on the southern front.
The multi‑phase drone strike damaged the bridge’s track and collapsed spans, severely disrupting Moscow’s supply routes and complicating troop and equipment movements across the peninsula. Satellite imagery released after the attack confirms significant structural damage, making the crossing unusable for rail traffic.
Officials say the operation forms part of a broader campaign to isolate Crimea’s occupied territory and weaken Russian military logistics, even as the Kremlin strengthens local security and imposes restrictions on civilian movement and fuel supplies.
