A powerful dust storm swept across Harbin, northeastern China, after a weather system linked to a Mongolian cyclone moved through the region. Massive walls of dust engulfed parts of the city, dramatically reducing visibility and turning daytime skies dark within minutes. Local reports indicated wind gusts reaching up to 135 km/h, causing disruptions and prompting authorities to advise residents to remain indoors. Meteorologists say the extreme conditions were triggered by the interaction of warm air with a strong cold front moving south from Mongolia.
