A powerful explosion tore through the Ta’ Lourdes fireworks factory in Magħtab, Malta, at around 6:36 a.m. local time, sending shockwaves across the surrounding area and causing significant damage to nearby buildings and vehicles.

Emergency services rushed to the scene shortly after the blast, securing the area and assessing the extent of the damage. Images and videos from the site showed debris scattered across the vicinity, while residents reported feeling the impact of the explosion from several kilometers away.

Authorities have confirmed that no casualties or injuries have been reported so far. Investigators are now working to determine the cause of the explosion and evaluate the full extent of the damage caused by the incident.
