Massive Funeral Ceremony Held in Tehran for Iran’s Late Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei

A massive state funeral ceremony is underway in Tehran for Iran’s late Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, drawing nationwide attention and large crowds of mourners.

Coffins were displayed during the public mourning ceremony, including those of family members reportedly killed in the same strike.

The delayed funeral is now moving through a series of processions across Iran and Iraq, with the final burial expected in Mashhad. Foreign diplomats and leaders are also attending the high-profile event, as analysts say the ceremony may become a powerful symbol of unity, grief, and political messaging during a tense moment for the region
