Pakistan Conducts Cross-Border Strikes in Afghanistan Following Militant Attack

Regional tensions have escalated after Pakistan reportedly carried out airstrikes targeting militant infrastructure and camps in Afghanistan's southeastern provinces of Khost and Paktika. The strikes followed an attack on a Frontier Constabulary post in Hassan Khel, near Peshawar, which Pakistani authorities blamed on militants operating from across the border. Security officials say the operation was aimed at disrupting militant networks allegedly involved in cross-border attacks.

The incident highlights ongoing security challenges along the Pakistan-Afghanistan border and raises fresh concerns about stability in the region as both countries continue to address militant threats.
