A powerful explosion ripped through Xing’an County in China’s Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, killing at least seven people and injuring 17 others, local police confirmed. The blast occurred on Lingxiang Road on June 11, and dramatic eyewitness footage captured the aftermath as emergency responders worked at the scene.
Authorities say a gas pipeline issue has been ruled out as the cause, and a full investigation has been launched to determine what triggered the deadly explosion.
Residents and bystanders shared videos showing extensive damage to nearby buildings and vehicles, highlighting the sudden impact on the local community. Rescue operations and safety assessments continue as officials work to support victims and secure the area.
