Qatar Confirms US Envoys in Doha, No Direct Iran Meeting Planned

Qatar has clarified that U.S. envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner are in Doha for talks with Qatari mediators, but no direct meeting with Iranian officials is planned. The discussions come amid ongoing diplomatic efforts linked to U.S.-Iran tensions, regional security, Lebanon developments and freedom of navigation through key international waterways.

Officials say communication channels remain active as mediation efforts continue.
