Russia Launches Massive Attack on Kyiv, At Least 16 Killed | Ukraine War

A massive overnight Russian missile and drone attack struck Kyiv and the surrounding region, killing at least 16 people and leaving around 40 others wounded. Ukraine’s air force said Russia launched ballistic and cruise missiles along with 168 drones during the large-scale assault. Around 30 apartment buildings, a school, a children’s hospital and a kindergarten were among the structures damaged. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy renewed his call for additional Patriot air-defence interceptors, saying stronger protection is urgently needed against ballistic missile attacks.
