Tens of thousands of Albanians have taken to the streets in Tirana for the 21st day in a row to protest plans for a multi‑billion‑euro luxury resort linked to Jared Kushner and Ivanka Trump on Albania’s southern coast. Demonstrators, chanting “Albania is not for sale,” accuse the government of ignoring environmental concerns, threatening protected wetlands and wildlife, and enabling opaque deals that benefit foreign investors.
Many protesters are also calling for Prime Minister Edi Rama to resign as the movement continues to gain momentum.
