Severe storms have swept across southern Minnesota, unleashing multiple tornadoes, baseball-sized hail, and powerful damaging winds throughout the region.
The National Weather Service confirmed that at least three tornadoes touched down as an intense weather system moved across several communities, leaving behind damaged homes, buildings, and vehicles.
In some areas, hailstones as large as baseballs blanketed roads, creating hazardous conditions, while strong winds combined with heavy rainfall intensified the destruction.
Emergency alerts were issued across multiple counties, with tornado watches and warnings in effect as the storms tracked through the Midwest. The outbreak marks one of the first significant severe weather events of the season.
