U.S. President **Donald Trump** has said the war with **Iran** could soon come to an end, claiming that a major agreement is close to being finalized. Trump told reporters that the necessary documents could be completed in the next few days, with a formal signing possibly taking place in Europe.
The announcement followed days of military action, including U.S. strikes on multiple Iranian sites and a cancelled third round of planned attacks after negotiations reached the highest levels of leadership.
Trump stated that several regional powers, including Israel, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Qatar, Turkey, Pakistan, Bahrain, Kuwait, Jordan and Egypt, have backed the framework of the agreement. Trump also said that a naval blockade would remain in place until the deal is officially completed.
Key issues addressed in the talks reportedly include the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz and concerns over Iran’s enriched uranium stockpile. If finalized, the agreement could end the fighting, reduce tensions and pave the way for broader regional cooperation.
