Trump Says U.S. Forces Killed Tren de Aragua Leader Niño Guerrero In Venezuela Strike

Post by : Shakul

US President Donald Trump has announced that American forces killed Héctor Rusthenford Guerrero Flores, better known as Niño Guerrero, the alleged leader of Venezuela-based Tren de Aragua, during a military strike carried out in coordination with Venezuelan authorities. The announcement was made on Friday and was later confirmed by senior US officials.

Guerrero was widely regarded as the central figure behind the growth of Tren de Aragua, a criminal network accused of operating across multiple countries. US authorities have linked the organization to drug trafficking, human trafficking, money laundering, extortion and other forms of organized crime. The gang has become a major focus of international law enforcement agencies in recent years.

According to official statements, the operation was conducted with cooperation from Venezuelan authorities and involved clashes with criminal elements. Officials believe the strike represents a significant blow to the gang’s leadership and operational capabilities. Venezuelan authorities also confirmed Guerrero's death during the joint action.

The development has drawn global attention as the United States increases pressure on transnational criminal organizations operating throughout the Americas. Security experts say the operation could reshape the future of Tren de Aragua and influence regional efforts to combat organized crime networks.
