A huge black cloud was seen rising over Russia’s Ryazan after Ukrainian drones struck one of the city’s major oil refineries, setting parts of the facility on fire.
Russian officials said the wider drone attack killed at least four people, including a child, and damaged residential buildings and an industrial site.
The strike comes amid a new wave of cross-border attacks, with Ukraine saying Russian energy and military infrastructure remain key targets after repeated Russian strikes on Ukrainian cities.
