Russia — Ukraine carried out a major wave of long-range drone strikes deep inside Russia, targeting energy, military and logistics infrastructure. Ukraine said its forces struck the Saratov oil refinery, Engels strategic airbase and an oil depot in the Kaluga region. A large Wildberries warehouse in Samara’s Novosemeykino area was also hit, triggering a massive fire. Russian regional officials reported at least eight deaths across several regions and damage to civilian and industrial infrastructure. Ukraine says its deep-strike campaign is aimed at disrupting facilities supporting Russia’s war effort.
