A major fire broke out at one of southern Russia’s key oil refineries after overnight Ukrainian drone strikes targeted Russia’s energy infrastructure. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said Kyiv hit refineries in the Krasnodar and Yaroslavl regions, as Ukraine continues efforts to disrupt Russia’s fuel supply and weaken its war capabilities. Russian authorities reported casualties near the affected area as thick black smoke rose from the refinery.
