US And Iran Reach Peace Deal To End War And Lift Naval Blockade

Post by : Bianca Haleem

The United States and Iran have reportedly reached a major peace framework aimed at ending military tensions, reopening the Strait of Hormuz, and lifting the naval blockade that disrupted one of the world’s most important oil shipping routes.

According to reports, President Donald Trump announced a breakthrough in negotiations, while Iran has signaled cautious support as further talks continue on sanctions relief, economic recovery, and nuclear-related issues.

Pakistan is also being credited for playing an important mediation role in helping both sides move closer to an agreement.

The reported deal has triggered strong reactions across Washington, Tehran and Israel, while global markets are watching closely. Oil prices fell after hopes grew that shipping through the Strait of Hormuz could resume safely, easing fears of a wider energy crisis.

However, the agreement is still being described as preliminary, with final terms and implementation details expected to be discussed in the coming days.
