Sheikh Mohamed Receives Invitation for Bahrain GCC Summit

President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has been formally invited by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain to attend the 46th Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Summit. The major regional meeting is scheduled to take place in Bahrain this December and will bring together leaders from across the Gulf to discuss key issues and future cooperation.

The written invitation was personally delivered to His Highness during a meeting at Qasr Al Bahr in Abu Dhabi. Shaikh Khalid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Bahrain’s Ambassador to the UAE, visited the President to hand over the message. His Highness welcomed the ambassador warmly and thanked him for the visit and the thoughtful gesture from the King of Bahrain.

During the meeting, Shaikh Khalid bin Abdullah conveyed the warm greetings of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. He also shared the King’s best wishes for the UAE President’s continued good health, happiness, and success. The King expressed his hope that the UAE will continue achieving progress and prosperity in the coming years.

His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed responded by extending his own heartfelt greetings to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa. He also conveyed his best wishes for the ongoing progress, stability, and prosperity of the Kingdom of Bahrain and its people. The exchange of messages reflected the deep friendship and mutual respect shared by the two countries.

The meeting further highlighted the strong and long-standing relationship between the UAE and Bahrain. The two nations have always shared close cultural, social, and political ties, strengthened by cooperation in many fields. Both countries continue to work together on regional issues and support initiatives that benefit the Gulf region and its future.

The upcoming GCC Summit is expected to focus on key regional developments, economic cooperation, and joint strategies to promote security and stability. The summit brings together leaders from Gulf nations to discuss shared goals, enhance unity, and plan long-term policies that support the region’s growth.
