How to Attend Gulfood 2026 as a Visitor or Trade Professional

Each year Gulfood turns Dubai into a major hub for the food and beverage industry — and Gulfood 2026 is expected to be one of the largest editions yet. Whether you represent a company, work in hospitality, or follow culinary trends, this guide explains the practical steps to attend the show as a visitor or trade professional.

Event Snapshot

Gulfood 2026 is scheduled at the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC), featuring some 5,000 exhibitors and participants from over 120 countries. The fair covers the entire F&B value chain, including beverages, meat and dairy, organic produce, packaging and technology.

More than an exhibition, it functions as a commercial platform where trends emerge, contracts are negotiated and partnerships are formed.

Who Should Attend?

Primarily a trade-only event, Gulfood is intended for industry professionals. That said, anyone with a professional interest in food, hospitality or culinary innovation can register and attend as a visitor.

Frequent attendees include:

  • Importers and exporters

  • Retail and restaurant owners

  • Hoteliers and catering operators

  • Food distributors and wholesalers

  • Founders of F&B startups

  • Chefs and culinary professionals

How to Register

Attendance requires advance registration. Registration windows usually open several months before the event. Register online via the official Gulfood portal, supplying your professional details and choosing the appropriate visitor category.

After registering you will receive a confirmation email and an e-badge, which must be shown at entry. While on-site registration is sometimes offered, it is typically pricier and slower — early online registration is recommended.

Badges and Access

Your official visitor badge allows access to exhibition halls, networking areas and live demonstrations. Trade visitors may receive additional access to B2B matchmaking, product launches and innovation zones.

Note that Gulfood is a professional trade event and attendees must be at least 16 years old.

Getting There and Accommodation

The Dubai World Trade Centre is centrally located and reachable by Dubai Metro, taxi or bus. Book hotels early since rooms near the venue fill fast during Gulfood week.

Download the Gulfood app to browse exhibitor listings, maps and schedules so you can plan your visit effectively.

Networking and Sessions

A key benefit of attending is the chance to connect with international industry players. Programme highlights include:

  • Business matchmaking sessions

  • Panel discussions and conferences

  • Product tastings and live demonstrations

  • Gulfood Top Table, featuring chef showcases

These formats help attendees form commercial links and discover new products or services.

Practical Tips for First-Time Visitors

  • Carry business cards – you will meet many contacts.

  • Dress smartly – business attire is advisable.

  • Map your priorities – review exhibitor zones relevant to your interests.

  • Stay hydrated and rest – the venue is large and busy.

Why Attend Gulfood 2026?

Gulfood 2026 offers more than product exposure — it provides insight into where the global food sector is heading. From sustainability and automation to alternative proteins and new trading relationships, the event gathers the people and ideas shaping the market.

Whether your goal is sourcing suppliers, evaluating new technologies, or gaining industry insight, Gulfood 2026 delivers a concentrated platform for business and innovation in the F&B sector.
